American History A Office hour session 6/29/10

2. First Things to do: 1. Go over Orientation Link. In this link you will find the Syllabus, Schedule, Introduction, and Getting Started. The Syllabus provides you with an overview of the course and what is in it. The Scheduler will provide you with a pace chart that will help you see what assignments are due each week. Just put in your start and end dates and click submit. You will then have your own personal pace chart!

3. Things to Do: 2. Familiarize yourself with all the links especially the Tool and Communication Link. There you will find ways in which you can communicate with me. Messages LinK = email teacher Pronto and Voiceboards : register for Pronto instant messenger. I will leave messages for you from time to time in the Voiceboard Link.

4. Office Hours Office hours are Tuesdays 10:00-11:00am CDT. Please come in for help with the course. I will also be available through pronto instant messenger at different times. Office hours may be recorded from time to time. Check under the Elluminate link for details. If you cannot come to an office hour, please let me know before the session by email.

5. Important Facts The assignment and quizzes in this course MUST be done in order. That means that if you are in Section- S you must complete all those assignments in that section in the proper order before you can move on to the next section. I will not grade any assignments that you submitted that are ahead of the assignment you are working on. There will be no exceptions.
