My Money<br />Produce resources for teachers in specific areas<br />Raise quality and quantity of personal finance education<br />Deliver personal finance education training <br />Raise profile of personal finance education<br />For first time ever the chance to actually communicate to and listen to pfeg’s ultimate beneficiary- young people.<br />

Challenges<br />Perceptions-Personal finance education considered :<br />dry subject<br />difficult to teach<br />Lack of understanding about the subject<br />lack of confidence with own financial knowledge <br />Extra work<br /> make things as simple as possible for teachers so access to resources, minimal prep, fitting in with other subject they are already teaching.<br />

Things to consider<br />Importance of relationship between organisations- understanding of education and latest technologies.<br />Really difficult balance between the I.T. set up schools have, and what you can produce.<br />Very important to get spec right- costly if major / structural changes needed<br />Sometimes difficult to visualise end result<br />
