  • 3. Safety Procedures
    • After using electrical appliances we turn off the local appliance then the main switch off.
    • When we’re swimming we wear goggles to protect us from the chlorine in the water.
    • After using sharp objects such as scissors ,knives or blades we always put them in a pot (designated for sharp objects) or a knife block.
    • Before and after eating my family and I wash our hands thoroughly with soap and running water.
    • To purify our water from germs,bacteria we boil and filter our water.
  • 4. Scientific Method
    • Problem: When my family and I moved from Dubai to Bangladesh we had a huge problem. Moving stuff from kitchen to kitchen.
    • Question: Will we be able to fit all of the Dubai stuff into the Dhaka Kitchen?
    • Hypothesis: I think the Dubai stuff will fit in the Dhaka kitchen.
    • Experiment: Putting stuff in the kitchen then planning out the placement .
    • Conclusion: It doesn’t fit in the kitchen.
    • Result: We have to put more shelves in our store room.
  • 5. Process Skills
    • I inferred, when my weight descreased that I was getting thinner.
    • Whenever I whisper anything about my brother he infers that I’m talking about him.
    • My mother inferred that the workers were getting tired because they were fasting.
    • My mom was wondering if eid was on a Wednesday or a Thursday and I inferred it would be on Thursday because some builders,who were working on a bridge,were working on Wednesday.
  • 6. Measurement
    • Last week I checked the stock market and was amazed that 1 US dollar is equivalent to 67.25 Taka.
    • I was so happy when I found out that I had lost weight.
    • At the market we weighed half a kilogram of guavas.
    • Today when I went to the tailor’s the shopkeeper measured me and now I’m 148 centimetres tall.
    • While making a cake I measured 300grams of flour,50grams of chocolate,20 grams of yeast and 3 eggs.
