    - Run editorial, marketing and technical teams
and am responsible for the Ideas Fund, our funding scheme
    - I’m here to tell you a little about our organisation and what we can offer you
  • Not for profit – we exist to support young people hoping to work in the creative industry
(NOT HERE TO MAKE PROFIT OFF THE BACK OF YOUR WORK)
Over the last 12 months we’ve given out nearly £200,000 in funding to our members
30,000 young creative people have signed up
  • Everything starts with our website– funding applications, exclusive opportunities, networking
But we try to do as much in the real world as possible – events, workshops, seminars
We invite our members onto our judging panels and to our board meetings
We involve them at every stage we can
  • Mentors: Magnum (Ian Berry, Stuart Franklin) - National Theatre of Scotland - Nick Astor (BBC Commissioning Editor, Comedy) - The Media Trust
Partners: OVNV, Magnum Photos, NYT, NSDF
Other organisations: BBC, Sheffield Doc/Fest, Latitude, RSC
Creative assignments in New York, Shanghai, Dubai, Liverpool, Edinburgh, Scarborough (and many more)
  • MENTORING FOR ALL THE MAJOR FUNDS

  • For Photographers hoping to realise their dream project
  • London Youth Support Trust – business incubation units
Currently six units, but hoping to expand, possibly around the country

ONLY COMMITMENT IS ONE MONTH’S RENT
  • Roger White
    Steven Atkinson
    Alex Webb
  • Coming to terms with transgender issues later in life
  • In your IdeasTap Portfolio
  • Traditional funders like the arts council (SHELL LIVEWIRE SPONSUME)
But there’s money in the regions, there’s money from corporations – what are their imperatives? What are their goals?
What organisation could your project be of interest to?
    Somers Town
Articles on IdeasTap – Theatre, and filmmaking – more articles to come
DOESN’T MEAN TURNING YOUR PROJECT INTO AN ADVERT, JUST LOOKING AT WHAT IT ALREADY REPRESENTS
