The Crowd’s Agenda The next day the great crowd that had come for the Feast heard that Jesus was on this way to Jerusalem. They took palm branches and went out to meet him, shouting, “ Hosanna!” “ Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!” “ Blessed is the King of Israel!” John 12:12,13

Jesus Has A Different Agenda Jesus found a young donkey and sat upon it, as it is written, “Do not be afraid, O Daughter of Zion; see, your king is coming, seated on a donkey’s colt.” John 12:14,15; Zechariah 9:9

Who is He? It was just before the Passover Feast. Jesus knew that the time had come for him to leave this world and go to the Father. Having loved his own who were in the world, he now showed them the full extent of his love . John 13:1
