Learning Activity - Graphic Organizer <ul><li>An example of the many learning activities students will be utilizing throughout the year is the Graphic Organizer activity. </li></ul><ul><li>  </li></ul><ul><li>Students will be assigned to read two short stories with a common theme. Students will then be asked to organize the information dissected from both stories into a graphic organizer by utilizing Excel. Layouts may be individualized per student, but should include the following categories: </li></ul><ul><li>  </li></ul><ul><ul><ul><li>Identify the protagonist </li></ul></ul></ul><ul><ul><ul><li>Challenge/conflict </li></ul></ul></ul><ul><ul><ul><li>Resolution </li></ul></ul></ul><ul><ul><ul><li>Other important characters involved </li></ul></ul></ul><ul><ul><ul><li>Additional common themes </li></ul></ul></ul>
