  • Seasons There are four seasons in Mongolia.Winter,spring,summer,or autumn.December,January and February are winter months.Winter is very cold and snowy in Mongolia.The days are short,the night are long.Everything looks white when there is a lot of snow children make a snowman, go skiing or go skating. We celebrate the New Years day in December. After winter comes spring. The days become longer and warmer. Trees and grass start to grow and turn green Mongolian. Spring is usually dusty and windy. Summer is the nicest season in Mongolia. The weather gets hot and sometimes it rains. Children do not go to school, they spend their holidays at children is camp, in the countryside, or at home. Mongolians celebrate their national holiday, Naadam, in July. Autumn is a rich and colorful season. Leaves of the trees change their colors. The weather is sunny and cool. Farmer are usually busy in autumn because they have to harvest the gropes and herders prepare for the cold winter. A new school year starts in September.
