  • 4. Answer • The United Kingdom of Great Britain is made up of 4 countries: • England • Scotland • Wales • Northern Ireland
  • 5. Question 2 • If you met someone from Amsterdam, what nationality would they be?
  • 6. Answer • Amsterdam is a city in the Netherlands. People from the Netherlands are known as Dutch.
  • 7. Question 3 • What are people from Denmark called?
  • 8. Answer • People from Denmark are known as Danes or Danish.
  • 9. Question 4 • How many Great Lakes are there? Can you name them?
  • 10. Answer • There are 5 Great Lakes. Lake Michigan, Huron, Superior, Erie and Ontario.
  • 11. Question 5 • How many oceans are there? Can you name them?
  • 12. Answer • There are 5 Oceans in the world. They are the Pacific, Atlantic, Indian, Arctic and the newest ocean, the Southern Ocean.

  • 14. Answer • The larges country in South America is Brazil.

  • 16. Answer • Though the region is called the Middle East, Iraq is located on the continent of Asia.

  • 18. Answer • The Panama Canal connects the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans. It is extremely important for trade purposes.
  • 19. Question 9 • Where is the Berlin Wall located? Does it still exist today?
  • 20. Answer • The Berlin Wall was located in Berlin, Germany. It was put up by the Soviet Union to separate East Berlin (Soviet Union) and West Berlin (US, England and France).
