1. 1. DIGIX

Wireless Marketing & Communication Solutions

 2. 2. Digital Information Exchange: our focus!

Why exchanging information digitally?

The market of the traditional product messaging becomes saturated!

The future belongs to the digital product messaging.

Core business
 3. 3. Our core business

DigiX focuses on 3 platforms:

Bluetooth

Captive portal

NFC

 All of these platforms allow us to exchange information wirelessly onto a mobile phone, a pda or a laptop.

DigiX produces all types of projects with:

Hard- & software support

Content creation

Content editing

Maintenance & support

Custom programming

Signage

 4. 4. 1. Bluetooth: we give it a future !

We give a future to Bluetooth!

We strongly believe that Bluetooth has a future in this wireless world.

Why? Because Bluetooth creates a free connectivity & content sharing between

devices.

We offer a "hotspot" system which consist of some kind of content-management system with a Bluetooth distribution function. This technology has the advantages that it is permission-based (opt-in), has higher transfer speeds and is also a radio based technology and can therefore not be charged and needs no licensing!
 5. 5. How does it work? Bluetooth can reach up to 30m & deliver up to 21 devices at once.
 6. 6. Advantages

By having the required Hardware/Software, you can communicate your corporate message and receive information from any device listed:

Easily

Conveniently

Automatically

Economically

In a fun, new and interactive fashion with your existing/potential consumers

First in territory

Company’s existing infrastructure supports low-cost roll-out and message distribution via:

Fleet of vehicles

Conventions/exhibitions

Fixed installations at shopping centers, bars, restaurants, disco’s, offices, receptions, and other sites

Mobizones

 7. 7. Sectors of application

EVENTS INDUSTRY

People coming for information/entertainment and open to interesting forms of messaging

Avoid the clutter of being just another document.

Send Business Cards, Brochures, schedules,...

Live experience through Bluetooth

Be impressive

Be Green and Save Money On Printed Materials!

ADVERTISING

Send Vouchers, Flyers, Promotions

Profiling

Multimedia experience

Messaging for every device irrespective of mobile price

Dynamic marketing

Proximity based

RETAIL

Send maps and instructions

Send video promotions

Send coupons

Promote articles

Competitions and databaseing

Create new digital revenue advertising channels

TOURISM

Local information in Multilingual format

Tourists always have mobile devices

Public transport time schedule

Points of Interest

Emergency Numbers!

Agenda

 8. 8. Specific retail application

QR couponing

For the retail sector we can send QR codes via Bluetooth to mobile phone. A captive portal gives information to the consumers. These coupons can be scanned at the cashier & redeemed immediately.

 9. 9. 2. Captive portal

The captive portal technique forces a client on a network to see a special web page.

Captive portals are used at most Wi-Fi hotspots , and it can be used to gether with

Bluetooth to access 100% of the mobile devices.

Since the web page itself must be presented to the client, either that web page is

locally stored in the transmitter , or the web server hosting that page must be

« whitelisted » & accessible .

The WIFI network we establish is configured to accept all initial network traffic but

instead of passing it onto the wider ‘internet’, is redirected to a controlled set of pages

decided by the client. Because of the advanced features required like blocking SMTP

and FTP whilst allowing HTTP, customized development is required for a DigiX solution.

 10. 10. Advantages

Due to demands from clients and current limitations of Bluetooth/Bluetooth Platforms,

DigiX has conceptualized and rolled out a ‘beta’ WIFI platform.

Why did we create this platform?

It allows Blackberry’s, IPhone, and all mobile devices including laptops with WIFI to communicate

It provides an active portal for mobile users to search for further information and download it, all for free at the event/location

As opposed to using internet, GSM, or 3G, all activity is free to all parties because a

VPN (Virtual Private Network) is established between all devices.

The inclusion of WIFI and Bluetooth platforms for clients will be unique to Benelux and

DigiX will be the only company being able to offer marketing and communications to

ALL mobile devices at events and locations.

 11. 11. 3. NFC

Near Field Communication or NFC, is a short-range high-frequency wireless

communication technology which enables the exchange of data between devices over

about a 10 centimetre distance. The technology is a simple extension of the RFID that

combines the interface of a smartcard and a reader into a single device. An NFC device

can communicate with both existing RFID , as well as with other NFC devices, and is

thereby compatible with existing contactless infrastructure already in use for public

transportation and payment. NFC is primarily aimed at usage in mobile phones.

 12. 12. A trendy community experience

How can event organizers, clubs and agencies use the service to enhance their events?

By offering visitors a trendy community experience

Through NFC/RFID you can link world visitor actions to the online world. Visitors from

an event can use their RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) or NFC (Near Field

Communication) enabled visitor badges to receive more information on nearby sights,

register their interest for certain activities, update their whereabouts online and get

linked to other visitors.

Museums and cities can also use the service to provide more information on historical

sites or attractions. Visitors touching an RFID tag with an RFID or NFC enabled mobile

phone can quickly access and download the extra information. This can also be

achieved through using 2D barcode options.

 13. 13. Applications

With DigiX Tag, brands can make print and outdoor campaigns come alive. More

information, access websites, receive an sms, subscribe, get e-mail, couponing, opt-in,

contests, etc. All these extras can be delivered to the consumer at the moment he/she

is ready for it.

Three options are available:

Scanning a 2D barcode tag on a magazine or billboard with a camera phone.

Touching an RFID enabled billboard with a contactless card like a transport card.

Touching an RFID tag on a billboard with an NFC enabled mobile phone.

The brand gets full reporting and can update the advertisement remotely and

contextually dependent.
