inSing says: Hanna isn't just a revenge flick per se; it's also a spy thriller, a fairy tale and a kick New Opening New Arrivals
ass action movie all rolled into one. It changes gears spectacularly well, moving from one aspect to Giveaway Tech Weekly
another without a hitch. We see everything from the purest of friendships being formed by an What’s New
innocent Hanna and her new found friend to a killing machine-esque Hanna violently dispatching Movies Events
her pursuers. Remarkably, the film's cinematography shifts just as well, moving from vast beautiful Trailer feature Fun For Free
landscapes and dreamlike introspective moments to gritty fast paced action sequences with ease. Movie feature Preview Guide
The vast amount of colours covered is pretty amazing, ranging from the tundra, desert to graffiti SC Reviews Contests
filled urban cities. The deep thumping electro-funk score also shines when paired with these Movie Lover Reviews Announcement
visuals and is also probably one of the more unexpected yet strangely suitable sound track choices Weekend Guide
for eluding and killing pursuers. With great editing work as well (transitions really shine in this film), Review
Hanna is one of the most complete films out there this year in terms of production values with
picture, sound and story in complete sync.

If that wasn't enough, the performances from the cast are just the icing on the cake. Ronan lends a
childlike wonder to the title role as a fish out of water, but becomes a ruthless killing machine just
as quickly while her dry robotic like behaviour lends the film a quirky dry wit. Eric Bana handles his
role with grace; his mannerisms almost let you on his notion that he is part of something bigger
right from the start. He also re-affirms his reputation as the baddest man on the planet. But the
highlight is watching Cate Blanchett turn in a devilish performance as a downright ruthless
tormentor who will do anything to not let secrets fall into the wrong hands.

3. Hanna: The Girl That Eluded All Convention - inSing.com 6/18/12 5:24 AM
Although the story does take off pretty slowly, it almost immediately becomes a cat and mouse
game thriller between Hanna, Marissa and Erik. If you're reading this and you appreciate a good
film that does everything right, go book your tickets now. Don't let Hanna become the best film that
nobody has seen this year. It's a spectacular ride that will fill all your sense with wide eyed intrigue
for 110 minutes. Hanna will leave you gasping, laughing, ooh-ing and aah-ing and might just even
have you thinking about everything from morality issues to existentialism.
Hanna opens in theatres Jul 21
