    • GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS  No registration fee.  The events are open to students of class 10, 11 and 12.  Participants must be present in full school uniform along with their bonafide certificates.  Completed Registration Forms (on the CD) must be printed out and sent by post on or before 10th July 2013. Spot-registration is also possible.  On the spot registration can be done at 8:30 am on Friday, 12th July 2013. For more information, contact the representatives or join the event on Facebook.

    • • Competitors must bring their own cubes. • Only the resting state of the puzzle after the timer has been stopped is considered. • All pieces of the puzzle must be fully attached to be considered solved. • If only 1 move is required, the puzzle is considered solved with a time penalty of 2 seconds. It is not solved if more than a move is required.

    • • Only one team (4 participants). • The team is considered to be inside the television and have to enact the given channels (of any language) as the judges keep changing the channels. • On stage : 2 minutes. • No rebuttal or preparation time. Human Television
    • Battle of the brains (Quiz) back Proceed to RULES Take on the quiz master!
    • Battle of the Brains • One team ( 3 participants). • Top 6 teams will be selected for the finals. • Rules will be given by the judges on the spot.

    • Accent-uate • Only One team (2 participants). • Each team will be shown a video clip. It will be played for a second time, during which the participants must mimic the audio for the same. • Preparation time: 2 minutes. • Criteria : Humor, creativity and character portrayal

    • Minute to Win It (J.A.M) • 2 participants per school. • The objective of the event is to talk without errors and gestures. • Each time a participant makes a mistake, the other participants can raise an objection. • Rest of the rules will be given by the JAM moderator.

    • Ad-dict • Only one team (maximum 6 participants). • The team is to advertize the product given , in the most innovative way . • Duration : 5 minutes • Criteria : Humor, Creativity and Originality
    • Pen-ny for your Thoughts (Creative Writing) back Let The Shakespeare within you surface Proceed to RULES
    • Pen-ny for your Thoughts • Only one participant • A short story or poem must be written. • Topic will be given on the spot. •Time limit: 45 minutes. •Criteria : Creativity, grammar, language and relevance to the topic.
    • Puzzle It Out (Lexicon) back A Test of grey matter! E=mc² Proceed to RULES
    • Puzzle it out • Only one team (3 participants). • The team will have to solve as many puzzles out of the given Sudoku, crosswords, rebus and anagrams. • Time limit : 45 min – 1 hour. • Quickest team with the most number of correct answers wins.

    • Notes from Nothing • Only one team (maximum 6 participants ) • Preparation time : 2 minutes • On stage : 4 minutes • Any junk and eco friendly equipment can be used.

    • Cartoon Network • Participants are expected to create a witty cartoon/caricature on a given topic • 2 participants per school, working on one caricature • Materials are required to be brought by the participants • Humorous tag lines/speech bubbles are allowed
    • Sounds of Silence (Dumb Charades) back Proceed to RULES Hush!
    • Sounds of Silence • Only one team (3 participants) • General rules of dumb charades apply. • Rules for respective rounds will be given by the judges on the spot. • Time limit will be decided by the judges.
    • Last Man Standing (Shipwreck) back Titanic 4-D Proceed to RULES
    • Last Man Standing • One team ( Two participants) • The participant will have to convince the judges why they deserve to receive the “life-jacket” from the sinking ship. • Duration : 6 minutes • Criteria : Humour, knowledge of the character and method of convincing.
    • Parod ise back Aaand ACTION! Proceed to RULES (Spoof-it-up)
    • Parod ise • Only one team (maximum 6 participants ) • On stage : 3-4 minutes • Cross dressing not allowed. • Vulgarity will result in disqualification. • Collect the movies on the first day.
    • Life Through the Lens (Photography and Video) back Proceed to RULES Life Paused!
    • Life Through the Lens • One Team per school (2 participants) • Contestants will have to make a video, incorporating ONLY pictures taken of the events on day 1. • The photo-incorporated video must be submitted along with the school name as the folder name in a pen-drive on the morning of Day-2
    • BLOCKLE (Block and Tackle) back Proceed to RULES I love fast food (tackle) It’s the worst thing ever.
    • BLOCKLE • A team comprising of two members from each school are given a topic, which they will either argue for, or against, as the judge says “block” and “tackle” respectively. • The event is judged on creativity, humor, spontaneity and consistancy • 1 minute preparation time will be given
    • A Matter of Opinion (Debate) • A debate will be held on a given topic between participants of different schools with one participant FOR the topic and the other AGAINST. back Proceed to RULES
    • A Matter of opinion • Only one team (2 participants). • Time limit will be specified by the judges.
    • Penalties and free throws! (Free style sports) back Sink it like Jordan! Bend it like Beckham Proceed to RULES
    • Penalties and free throws! •Each team comprising of totally 2 members (same competitor for both football and basketball, participants from the same school will not be working together) • Each penalty taker will get 5-10 kicks in a series of challenges to be determined. •The free throw taker must try sinking as many as possible from 10 shots. •Rules for Round 2 will be determined on the day of the event. • Round 2 will comprise of those who have not been cut off after the 1st round and will determine the places. •Elimination will be done using a point scoring system.

    • Art attack • This event consists of Junk Art, T-Shirt designing and Poster Making. •2 contestants per contest for each (Total of 6) •Students are required to bring their own materials. (Charts, Paints and Waste Material included) • The T-Shirts should be plain and without design of any sort.
    • SUIT UP!
    • 1. This event simulates court cases that test a contestant’s ability to analyze. This is an individual event. 2. Only 2 participants per school. 3. Once presented with a situation, the contestant must pick a side before arguing his/her case 4. Contestants are judged on their ability to convince and eloquence. Suit up!
    • THE FINAL EVENT.. THE REFLECTORback Winners of Channel Surfing, Quiz, JAM, Adzap Shipwreck, Spoof it up, Block and Tackle will qualify for the final event.
