  • 1. 1 Gospel Baptist Tabernacle 781 Salem Road, Rossville, GA 30741 Where the Love of God abounds, everyone is welcome. Children’s Church taught by Paul and Marsha Davis during preaching. www.rossvillechurch.com Justin Case
  • 2. 2 Proverbs 17:9 He that covereth a transgression seeketh love; but he that repeateth a matter separateth very friends. (TLB) 9 Love forgets mistakes; nagging about them parts the best of friends. Love keeps no record of wrongs. 1 Cor 13:5
  • 3. 3 Leviticus 19 18 Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself: I am the LORD. Psalm 103 8 The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy. 9 He will not always chide: neither will He keep His anger for ever. We must be like our Lord!
  • 4. 4 Mark 11 25 And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought (anything) against any: that your Father also which is in Heaven may forgive you your trespasses. 26 But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in Heaven forgive your trespasses. Many people are continuing to suffer consequences for their own sins, because they refuse to forgive those who have sinned against them.
  • 5. 5 Romans 12 18 If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. 19 Do not take revenge, my friends, but leave room for God's wrath, for it is written: "It is Mine to avenge; I will repay," says the Lord. (NIV) To be at peace within requires a forgiving heart. Turn all wrongs done unto you over to God.
  • 6. 6 10 A reproof entereth more into a wise man than an hundred stripes into a fool. A fool loves to be foolish and does not want to learn any better. A wise man will learn from a simple reproof.
  • 7. 7 11 An evil man seeketh only rebellion: therefore a cruel messenger shall be sent against him. Sooner or later an evil, rebellious person will be brought to justice. There’s no need to try and reason with such a person, they will not listen. Let the law deal with them.
  • 8. 8 12 Let a bear robbed of her whelps meet a man, rather than a fool in his folly. Better to meet up with a fiercely angry bear, Than to meet a fool living in his foolishness. as Robert L. Alden suggests, “Consider meeting a fool with a knife, or gun, or even behind the wheel of a car; a mother bear could be less dangerous” (Proverbs: A Commentary on an Ancient Book of Timeless Advice, p. 134). The Bible Knowledge Commentary: An Exposition of the Scriptures by Dallas Seminary Faculty.
  • 9. 9 13 Whoso rewardeth evil for good, evil shall not depart from his house. To render evil for good is devilish. He that does so, brings a curse upon his family. Matthew Henry Concise Bible Commentary.
