Ephesians 6 1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right. 2 Honor (revere, value) thy father and mother; (which is the first command- ment with promise;) 3 That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth. Be a parent that can be honored.

Secret abortions for under -16s by ZOE Bolton, Mail online: Girls younger than 16 will still be allowed to have abortions without their parents' consent, under new guidelines issued by the Department of Health. 10. 10. 10 Ephesians 6 4 And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. Deuteronomy 6 6-7 And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up. Parents must be godly parents.
  11. 11. 11 7 Excellent speech becometh not a fool: much less do lying lips a prince. (TLB) 7 Truth from a rebel or lies from a king are both unexpected. We are sons and daughters of The Most High God; behave as what you are.
  12. 12. 12 8 A gift is as a precious stone in the eyes of him that hath it: whithersoever it turneth, it prospereth. Those who set their hearts upon money, will do any thing for it. What influence should the gifts of God have on our hearts! Matthew Henry Concise Bible Commentary. John 3 16 For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved.
