  • Here we see that Bruce has clicked the link from the notification. To the right you can see the Shift Workers that are available to help Todd address the feedpump issue. Notice the presence indicators for each shift worker.If we look at the Plant Floor web part we see that Pump 2 is overheating just as the IM notification indicated. Todd now has the opportunity to contact one of the shift workers based on availability and have them manually shut down the feed pump or in some cases based on system integration he could initiate a pump shutdown directly from the portal and notify the Shift Workers of the need for a repair in order to get things operational again.
