8. Material Claims EXCEPTIONAL Metals sells products to AISI standards with regard to dimensional tolerances, shape, and camber, and to ASTM standards for chemical and physical analysis. For pre- painted products, we follow standards set by the National Coil Coaters Association, the paint manufacturer and the paint applicator. All claims and warranties will be reviewed and settled following the above standards, in conjunction with the claim policy of the originating mill, paint manufacturer, and paint applicator (where applicable).

Material Claims Claims will be honored only when the required documentation is submitted, EXCEPTIONAL Metals investigation is complete, and material is made available to EXCEPTIONAL Metals in its original form for return. In the event of fabricated panels or parts, EXCEPTIONAL Metals will not be responsible for amounts in excess of 2,000 pounds, or 2,000 square feet of the fabricated products. Installation of defective panels or parts is at the sole discretion and expense of the customer.
