On April 26, 1996...
...Chernobyl nuclear reactor exploded.

I did not know how vulnerable this world is
28 Chernobyl firefighters were the first to save the world. They were lead by Vladimir Pravik.
Vladimir Pravik died 3 weeks later. He was 24 years old.
Some Chernobyl ﬁreﬁghters got 700 roentgens in 12 hours. You and me will get less than 170 for our whole life.
