  • But its a much bigger opportunity than people think..because its a cottage industry So many types of salons - hair, beauty, nails etc but it is a huge cottage industry as 98% of Salons are owner operated  the toni and guys are drop in the ocean
  • This is Amanda Botley from Southampton. She is 38 has 3 young kids and has owned her own salon for the last 6 years.  left school early worked in a salon - realised she was good at what she did but her earning potential is so limited she launches her own salon but with little or no business expertise she struggles to get the most from her business - marketing, accounts, admin. Like 70% of other beauty therapists and hairdressers - Amanda has dyslexia which is one of the reasons why she really dislikes computers.  and she has a young family to look after. She is distrustful of technology so most admin is done by hand EVEN in 2011 - 50% of salons in the UK don't have a computer system. and as an Owner Operator - no one to turn to - other local salon owners are usually competition
  • We help Amanda Increase average ticket prices with loyalty Get more customers through the door Give her more time for family while making more money
  • We currently help 800 salon owners just like Amanda Adding 20 salons a month in the UK
  • Name - zanadu Groupon Staff Reviews/Facebook - Social  15% for new bookings We haven't added anything in 18 months
