17. Points to note
1 –both anchors in place, do not know how much chain each
side 2 – Missing parts on aux engines, need to activate all 4.
3 – Missing pumps and motors to be fitted back mainly aircond, reefer, air comp, sw pumps.
All motors and pumps in bottom flat insulation checks and repair if needed
4 – T&S book and capacity plan originals to
supply Also GA, Fire plan, docking plan

7 – Last 10 ports list with cargo and security levels
8 – Boiler plant to reactivate, main engine and aux eng lubs to either puify and do lub oil
anlysis.
9 – Main engine inspections to do in scavenge and crankcase, check of piston ring and
liner condition and bearing clearances. Crankcase oil analysis to do.
10 – Turbocharger clearance and bearing check renew oils.
11 – Test of main engine for sea speed for minm 2 hrs, speed, consumptions of fuel and
lubs to record. All pressures and temperatures to check during trials and confirm in
recommended range.
12 – Genes function test for sea load and check of temperatures and pressures in normal
range. Each gen should be able to take sea load and do parallel operation . Safety cut
outs to function check.
13 – All cargo and slop tanks to clean, gas free for hot work and patch weld holes on
deck. Weather deck many openings damaged including tank covers.
14 – Conditions on deck, hull and ER in advanced state of decay.
Possibility of sailing on own power low without extensive hull and deck
repairs. For considering tow also need to repair the towing arrangements.
