    Food To Help You Lose Weight, 5 - Presentation Transcript

    1. Food to Help You Lose Weight, 5 Healthy Alternates to Junk Food.
      While we all love eating junk food, we all know that it is not good for us and will only lead to us gaining weight. So I thought we might look at some food that is good for us. You will probably have heard all this before, but are you putting it into practice.
    2. Vegetables
      In our hectic world we tend to forget about vegetables. We seem to skip straight to chips and packet alternatives and leave our vegetables off our plates. Vet vegetables are essential to our diet. They have all the nutrients and vitamins that we need and they have no fat. They make you feel good and you don’t put on weight.
    3. Brown Foods
      I have heard it said that white bread has all the goodness of blotting paper, so don’t waste your time with it. You need brown bread that has fibre it. Same with brown rice. All you white breads and rice have had everything removed from them and do very little for you. So eat brown rice and brown bread.
    4. Water
      Let’s discuss the benefits of carbonated sugar loaded soft drink. Nothing. Soft drink has incredible amounts of sugar in it and it will not refresh you. Water has no sugar, no fat and no additives. You feel instantly refreshed when drinking it and it helps to flush the waste out of your body. Plus it’s not so sickly sweet as soft drink.
    5. Fruit
      Fruit is being neglected just as much as vegetables. Fruit, with natural sugars and vitamins is some of the best food to eat when trying to lose weight. I love Banana, Strawberry, Orange, Passionfruit and Apple in a fruit salad with low fat yogurt on top. Tasty, healthy and full of vitamins. Better than a fruit roll-up any day.
    6. Fish
      One of the world’s best products. Fish has so many benefits that it would take too long to list them all here. However Omega 3 found in fish helps to lower cholesterol and is good for the heart and brains. Fish are also low in fat and can substitute chicken in most dishes.
    7. In Conclusion
      I hope you can see the benefits of all the above listed foods. You don’t have to stop eating what you are now, but replace some of it with what we have talked about. Small changes will help you in your weight loss program and you will feel so much better for it.
