SAVE THE DATE: NOVEMBER 7, 2012 VCEDAs 42nd Annual Business Outlook ConferenceThe BOC is VCEDA’s premier event and typically attracts between 200-300 businessand community leaders from throughout Ventura County. The event is scheduledfor November 7, 2012 from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. at the Ventura County Office ofEducation Conference Center located at 5100 Adolfo Road in Camarillo.As Ventura County’s primary economic advocate, VCEDA has used the BOC to focuson specific issues that impact business in our county. Though we are just startingto plan for this year’s event, the theme is based on education and its link tobusiness. Our goal is to help ensure a skilled, quality workforce to enablebusinesses to flourish and grow in our new economy.We have invited Tony Wagner, Innovation Education Fellow, Technology andEntrepreneurship at Harvard and author of The Global Achievement Gap andCreating Innovators: The Making of Young People Who Will Change the World to bethe keynote speaker.We believe the time is right for this dialog and look forward to a great event.
