  • 1. Drug Use by Young People in England in 2010
  • 2. About the Survey
    • The survey was carried out with 7,296 pupils aged between 11 and 15 from 246 schools in England.
    • Are pupils honest?
      • “ Since questions about drugs were introduced in 1998, the questionnaire has asked about Semeron, a fictional drug. In 2010, only 13 pupils (0.2% of the total sample) reported that they had ever taken Semeron; this matches the experience of previous years, and lends support to the view that most pupils do not exaggerate their drug use.”
