  • 11 Social studies of energy: Brief overview of research at Centre for Energy and Society Margrethe Aune
  • 2 About the Centre  Social science part of NTNU’s strategic area Energy and Petroleum – Resources and Environment, established 2001  Main research focus: Sustainable energy and climate, to produce knowledge for transitions towards a post carbon society  Interdisciplinary, with Science and Technology Studies as the main pillar  Seven professors, three research scientists, three post docs, and 17 doctoral students participate in the Centre  Also engaged in a broader, national initiative – Centre for Sustainable Energy Studies (CenSES)
  • 3 Research areas 1. Energy and climate policy 2. Energy markets and ‘the deregulated consumer’ 3. Energy and climate research 4. Innovation and commercialisation 5. Energy- and climate relevant professions 6. Transport and mobility 7. Energy in buildings 8. Public engagement with climate issues and new renewable energy technologies.
  • 44 Fra høsten 2011 - to masterprogram – Tverrfaglige kultur- og kjønnsstudier – Studier av teknologi, kunnskap og samfunn Søkertall for 2013: – KKS 22 primærsøkere (10 plasser) – STS 63 primærsøkere (15 plasser)  Utfordring - beholde søkerne Drifter og underviser på HiP og POM – Humanister i praksis og prosjektorientert master – ved HF Siden sist: undervisning
  • 55 Siden sist - personal: Senter for kjønnsforskning (KKS)  3 (4) prof/ førsteam (to 50%)  5 forskere/post doc  4 PhD + Instituttets administrasjon: 2,3 (Kontorsjef,seniorkonsulent/ studiekonulent og 1. konsulent)  Jeg har søkt instituttlederjobben Senter for teknologi og samfunn (STS)  8 prof/ førsteam (to opprykk)  2 univ lektorer  8 forskere/post doc  15 - 19 PhD (for noen har finansieringen gått ut, noen sitter andre steder)
  • 66 Vi har midler fra følgende store programmer i NFR: Renergi, Norklima, Miljø 2015, Verdikt, Kulver, Nanomat/ELSA, Velferdsstatsprogrammet, SAMKUL –KULT fikk tilslag på to Samkul prosjekter + av vi er deltakere i to andre Eksternfinansiert forskning – finansiering i 2013
