Ear care protocol following piercing In order to ensure pleasing results, please follow these simple instructions for the first four weeks. 1.Cleanse the earlobes at least twice a day.( without removing the earrings (by dabbing the front and back) with spirit swab). 2.After cleaning the earlobe, rotate the earrings (like winding a watch) three to four time (after applying antibiotic ointment) 3.Keep hair spray, soap, shampoo and other hair preparations away from the ear. After shampooing, the earlobe should be thoroughly rinsed with clean water, then repeat step-1 .

Ear care protocol following piercing 4. The studs should not be removed for six weeks. After six weeks the studs can be removed and other post type earrings may be worn. However, some type of post earrings should be worn at all times for the first six months. The post should be at least 14 KT gold or surgical stainless steel. CAUTION: No wire style /earrings should be worn for four months after the ears have been pierced. 5. Should excessive redness, irritation, itching or soreness occur, please consult the doctor.
