The plexo sacrococcigeo is a network of nerves located near the lower end of the spinal cord. It is formed by the sacral and coccygeal nerves which branch out to innervate the skin and muscles of the pelvic region and perineum. Damage to this nerve plexus can result in loss of sensation and motor function in the areas it supplies.
