  11. 11. Materials...Using materials with a rich historyin our region as well as materialsthat have an aspiring future in ourenvironment.

Lighting... ...LanternsReflecting on an earlier time when everything moved at a slower pace andgenerations read, held discourse, darned and contemplated by the soft, gentlyflickering light of a lantern and campfire...the warmth associated with anopen flame is an area wed like to focus development of the artificial lightwithin the Action Center. A mix of streamlined and sculptural forms, withcarefully selected materials, that would function like lanterns of yore, butwith the energy efficiency of modern LED technology.
