Monitoring Scandal: what is it? For millions btw! A company is caught for defrauding investors and employing other unscrupulous schemes. An “expert” is appointed to work with the company to help get things straightened by changing the business practices…. … . AND AVOID Criminal Charges!
So, what is wrong?

One: The “Monitors” are cronies of the Government. For example, John Ashcroft’s consulting company captured a USD 25 million contract to work at a Medical Equipment manufacturer.

Second: The Monitors are paid by the company in question itself!

Third: The fees rarely involve court approval and, according to defense lawyers, are hardly questioned by companies because they fear reprisal.

And it all started with “taking care of the investors”!? How does spending millions on Bush’s cronies in appointments that are suspect by the robbing company itself – in the “INTEREST of the investor”??
