  1. 1. Monotheism is the basic concept that allprophet called for, Trinity has never beencalled for by any prophet. All the prophets inthe Old Testament called for monotheism.

In the Old Testament, Moses says: So acknowledge today and take to heart that the LORD is God in heaven above and on the earth beneath; there is no other.( Deuteronomy 4:39) And also he say:And he said, ‘Tomorrow.’ Moses said, ‘As you say! Sothat you may know that there is no one like the Lordour GodAnd also he say:you shall have no other gods before me.(Exodus:20:3)
  3. 3. David says:You who have done great things,O God, who is likeyou? (Psalm 71:19)And he elaborates more saying:Before the mountains were brought forth, or everyou had formed the earth and the world, fromeverlasting to everlasting you areGod.(Psalm90:2)
  4. 4. Then he addresses God saying: For you are great and do wondrous things; you alone are God.(Psalm:86:10)Then he addresses his people saying:Let them praise the name of the Lord, for hisname alone is exalted; his glory is aboveearth and heaven.(Pslam:148:13)
  5. 5. Nahum the prophet says:Thou, even thou, art LORD alone; thou hastmade heaven, the heaven of heavens, with alltheir host, the earth, and all things that aretherein, the seas, and all that is therein, and thoupreserves them all; and the host of heavenworshiped thee.(9:6)
  6. 6. Prophet Malachi says alsoHave we not all one father? Hath not one Godcreated us? Why do we deal treacherouslyevery man against his brother, by profaningthe covenant of our fathers? (Malachi 2:10)
  7. 7. God tells us about Himself in the Torah saying:I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is nosavior. (Isaiah 43:11)And God says:Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and hisredeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, andI am the last; and beside me there is no God.(Isaiah 4:6)
  8. 8. See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand.(Deuteronomy32:39) And God says:For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore yesons of Jacob are not consumed (Malachi 3:6).
  9. 9. Isaiah rebukes those who compare His creatures to Him saying:18 To whom then will ye liken God?or what likeness will ye compare unto him?To whom will ye liken me, and make me equal,and compare me, that we may be like?( Isaiah 46:5)
