  • 5. BENCHMARKPT Barnum’s Circus successfully transported personnel,equipment, and animals from one US town to another
  • 6. INNOVATEThese European generals studied what made Barnum’s Circus transportation so smooth and efficientThey then adapted/innovated and applied these “bestpractices” to improve their own armies’ transportation
  • 7. LEARNING POINTS1. When trying to do anything better, study how those who are world class do it2. Others may have already solved the problem
