      Blogs are a great asset in a social media strategy, but for Nuuko we recommend focusing on Presentation writing and Brief writing and using social knowledge sharing vs. narrative blogging.
      When critical mass of content production is occurring a blog like social aggregator will be introduced into the master digital media strategy.
    • Words That Work
      When you are developing content for the web, please keep in mind that we want it to be search engine optimized. Think about the terms/words that would drive people to the Nuuko site. Sample terms:

      Write what your desired audiences want to learn about. You’ll know these topics from listening. Listen on Twitter. Monitor industry leaders, prospects, and niche networks where your prospective industry hangs out online.
      Search these topics on the following channels to see what’s popular right now in those areas:
      Social Bookmark Sites like DIGG, Reddit, Delicious
      Tweetmeme lets you see what topics are tweeted about the most on a variety of channels
      It’s Trending is a great site to find out what’s being shared the most on Facebook.

    • The first step in social media is learning to listen before you speak.
      Take a week or two and really hone in on who is talking, various angles on the topic content wise, who drives conversation, who is the brand activist, who is the influencer.
      Take notes, share your ideas and listening findings with your fellow ESEs

      Google Alerts
      TweetDeck to search for whose talking about certain topics
      Use LinkedIn aggressively to prepare for the understanding of who your prospects are.

      Become a fan of your prospects brand, follow it, share it, etc.
      Offer comments on prospects blogs, twitter accounts, SlideShare postings, YouTube.
      You will need to research prospect by prospect if they have a social presence
      Promote prospects content on social channels.
      Look for opportunities to retweet and respond to prospects content.
