  • 2. Where is Belize Belize is located at the heart of Central America. Belize is located on the border of Mexico to the north of Guatemala to the west and south. Belize consists of a land area of 8,867 square miles and is known for having the longest living Barrier Reef in the world that stretches out along the Eastern Coast of Belize.
  • 3. Religion There are many religion in Belize they are Roman Catholic, Protestant ,Anglicans, Baptist, Methodist, Seven-a day, Adventist and Mennonites .
  • 4. Culture In Belize the most popular sport are soccer and basketball.Punta is by the far most popular genre of Gorifunta music and has become the most popular genre in Belize. Belize has there own independence day on 21 st September 1981 when the slavery began (the British Empire)
  • 5. Cocoa Struggling to work their way out of poverty, the cocoa farmers of southern Belize had their hopes shattered when in 1991 the price of their crops fell to less than half its farmer value. In 1993 fair-trade breathed a new lease of life into the villages over the last ten years sales of their coco on fair-trade terms have taken these farmers beyond the substance level.
  • 6. Population The population is in 1980-145,000 and 1990-191,000.
