  • Introduction  Douglas "Doug" Ebenstein serves as president of Capital Commercial Properties, a property developer based in Boca Raton, Florida. In addition to office buildings and apartments, he works on retail properties such as shopping malls. In one notable case, Douglas Ebenstein helped revitalize the Eden Center Mall on Wilson Boulevard in Falls Church, Virginia.
  • About The Eden Center Mall  The Eden Center Mall follows a Vietnamese-American theme, with a clock tower patterned after a major landmark in Saigon and over 100 shops featuring Vietnamese cuisine and goods. As a promotion for the mall and its many jewelry and beauty businesses, the mall hosts the Miss Vietnam D.C. Pageant. The mall attracts visitors from all over the D.C.-metro area as well as Canada and Vietnam.
  • Conclusion  Originally known as the Plaza Seven Shopping Center, Eden Center began taking its current form in the 1980s. In 1996, major additions added 32,400 square feet of space. The nearby Just Tires Garage also underwent a conversion, becoming another venue for retailers.
