  1. 1. Mexico which is officially called the United Mexican States is a federal republic . Its location is to the south of the USA and on south and west of the Pacific Ocean.   2. 2. Plaza de la Constitución, or Zocalo , is the main square of the historic center. To its north is the Catedral Metropolitana (Metropolitan Cathedral) which is also one of the interesting places. The other interesting places in Zocalo are :- • Palacio de Bellas Artes (Fine Arts Palace) • Museo Nacional de Antropologia (National Anthropology Museum) • Palacio Nacional (National Palace) • Templo Mayor (Great Temple) • Museo Nacional de Antropologia (National Anthropology mMseum) Mexico City & AroundTulum ruin will be open from 8 am to 5 pm every day. Note : Most buses will arrive around 11 am, so, try to avoid the crowds by planning your tour either before or after that time. Tulum is best know for the Tulum ruin which is one of the most visited archaeological site in Mexico. Its original name is believed to be Zama or “Dawn” in English. El Castillo (the castle) is the largest and most prominent building in Tulum.Oaxaca, Mexico Oaxaca is also officially called the Free and Sovereign State of Oaxaca. It is located in the south west. Oaxaca is popular for its culture and indigenous people, especially the Zapotecs and Mixtecs. They mostly live in the Central Valley region which is one of the tourist areas.
