    • Initial Screen: Google analytics initial screen would be the total accounts that your handled on the account. Here you will be able to select the account, create new account and edit your account sharing option to others.
    • Analytics Settings: Once you click from your account, you will reach the profile interface where you will do the following options. Add new profile- To create a new profile for an existing account. User Manager- To give access to a new user, click the Add User link. You can edit or delete existing report access using the links in the Existing Access Filter Manager- You will find the filters used in your whole single account. Profile settings edit- You can create a Goal, Filter, user account and check the status of your coding
    • Report Interface: Once you click the view report then you will reach the Dashboad with the following features Report Navigation Settings Help Resources Export option and Email Reports set-up Calender or Date Slider

  • Google Interface
    • Dashboard: This will provide you the summary of your site data. Moreover you can customize like delete and reorganize reports. Add to dashboard option will give you to add the reports to the Dashboad.
    • Report Structure: Here you can see what are the reports that Google Analytics can provide for the user as follows. Visitors- Information about loyality, language, Screen Resolution etc.. Traffic Sources- Provide information about natural and paid sources of traffic and Adwords reports Content- To know more about your page views Goals- To know more about converstion rate and Goal path Ecommerce- If you enabled the ecommerce settings we can get the datas on sales details of the site
    • Date Range and Comparision Date range: -use calender or Timeline to set your active date range -If you select the 'compare to past' checkbox then you can compare with the date, month or a year.

    • Multi line Graph: This is option where you can you two metric data on the Graph.
    • Export and Email Report: 1.if you want to export your analytics report then you can export the data with the following option -PDF -XML -CSV -TSV 2.If you want to send the report as email to your client or schedule regularly then you have an Email option through Analytics
    • Curriculam Links: 1.Some reports contains additional links for reports ( in case these are reports not shown in the main navigation) 2.Provide quick way to find information
    • Title and Breadcrumb Navigation: This will provide us the information of where we are in the report section and go back to the top menu easily.

    • Quick Dimension: Use the Dimension menu to segment table data by source, city, campaign etc...
    • Keyword Report : Within keywords and search engines reports, you can show all kewords(Total), or only paid or non paid keywords
    • Hourly Report: For reports with Hourly Reporting.[ currently not available ]
    • Report Views: There are five different report views available in Google Analytics -Table -Percentage -Performance -Comparision -Pivot

    • Sorting Data: Column datas can be sorted in ascending and decending order. -Up arrow as ascending -Down arrow as Decending
    • Expanding Number of Results Displays Normally you will see the 10 results in the page but you can you alter this into 10 to 500
    • Find Box Using this box we can refine our reports, we have 'containg' and 'excluding' option to find the data.

    • Finding your Tracking Code Go to analytics setting and edit your profile your will find the 'check status' in the top right corner to find out your tracking code.

    • Custom Tracking: If you need to track more than one sub domains in your profile then you need to customize the default tracking code with the method called _setDomainName. For more information about ga.js methods follow this link. http://code.google.com/apis/analytics/docs/gaJS/gaJSApi.html
    • Installing Javascript: Paste the ga.js code before </body> tag which normally recommended by Google and place your code in all the pages which you want to track.

    • Placement of the Javascript: Normally we place the Javascript in the bottom of the page but for the below conditions we need to place the code in the top. If you have Ecommerce tracking code on your site. [_additem(), _addTrans()] When tracking across multiple domains or sub domains [_link(), _link ByPost()] When using frames we need to place the code in the <head> section If you using custom Javascript function that may conflict with ga.js.
    • Using GA within Google Adwords Reports: You can integrate the GA into Google Adwords account to tracking your campaign performace.
    • Checking Reports for Datas: We will receive the data after 24 hours once your insall the code into your site.
    • Checking Source Code: We need to check whether the Javascript is installed in all the pages for getting total site data.
