Filemaker Databases

  1. 1. FileMaker Login Page takes you to each database
  2. 2. <ul><li>Login Page </li></ul><ul><li>I generated a small short cut in FileMaker that I installed on each persons </li></ul><ul><li>computer so they could easily open this login page </li></ul><ul><li>The person using the database could then select the database desired </li></ul><ul><li>Each button has a link to open up the appropriate database </li></ul>

  4. 4. <ul><li>Ordering Database </li></ul><ul><li>Each person can enter information needed to order an item </li></ul><ul><li>The person who does the ordering can easily read the information and place the order </li></ul><ul><li>On the right side of the yellow line, PO, actual price etc is entered </li></ul><ul><li>There are also buttons with scripts on the top left </li></ul><ul><li>These scripts can be used to find an item that was ordered before </li></ul><ul><li>Once the item is found, another script will copy the item information to a new order </li></ul><ul><li>The PO number actual price etc is automatically removed from the so that a new </li></ul><ul><li>order so the appropriate new information can be added </li></ul>

  8. 8. Plasmid log list view Clicking plasmid goes to more detailed form view

  10. 10. <ul><li>Plasmid log </li></ul><ul><li>The plasmid log contains information such as the project and who made it </li></ul><ul><li>There are drop down boxes in some areas with appropriate information in them </li></ul><ul><li>to make selections easy </li></ul><ul><li>There is an area to insert a picture of the plasmid map </li></ul><ul><li>Genbank files can be inserted but clicking on the box on the right </li></ul><ul><li>The box will automatically take the person to an insert file screen when entering </li></ul><ul><li>plasmids and a export screen if the plasmid has already been added </li></ul><ul><li>Buttons along the top will take the person to the appropriate screen for editing etc. </li></ul>
