Consequently, Austria became an entry point for companies targeting the CEEmarkets due to the country’s developed infrastructure. As a result of this development,Austria’s construction industry reported further investment in infrastructure modernizationand expansion to meet the increased demand. However, the economic crisis resulted in acontraction in exports from Austria which, together with tightening liquidity and weakenedinvestor confidence, led to a slowdown in the Austrian construction industry, as thecountry’s economy is highly dependent on exports. As a result of the slowdown during thelater part of the review period, the construction industry recorded a CAGR of XX.XX%between 2006 and 2010. Although, the recovery of the global economy supported the
  • 2. demand for Austrian exports in 2010, public spending by the Austrian government isexpected to be constrained. This reflects the country’s budget deficit, which representedXX.XX% of Austria’s GDP in 2010, and is aimed to be reduced by the Austrian governmentto XX.XX% by 2015. Consequently, the Austrian construction industry is projected toregister a CAGR of XX.XX% during the forecast period."Table of Contents1 Introduction1.1 What is this Report About?1.2 Definitions1.3 Summary Methodology2 Executive Summary3 Construction Industry Analysis3.1 Construction Industry Overview3.2 Industry Dynamics4 Construction Industry Data4.1 Historic Industry Value4.2 Historic Industry Segmentation4.3 Industry Value Forecast4.4 Industry Segmentation Forecast5 Construction Industry: Market Analysis5.1 Commercial Construction Market Analysis5.1.1 Market Dynamics5.1.2 Commercial Construction Market Value5.1.3 Commercial Construction Market Segmentation5.1.4 Commercial Construction Market Value Forecast5.1.5 Commercial Construction Market Segmentation Forecast5.2 Commercial Construction: Category Analysis5.2.1 Leisure and Hospitality Construction Category Value Review5.2.2 Leisure and Hospitality Construction Category Value Forecast5.2.3 Office Buildings Construction Category Value Review5.2.4 Office Buildings Construction Category Value Forecast5.2.5 Outdoor Leisure Facilities Construction Category Value Review5.2.6 Outdoor Leisure Facilities Construction Category Value Forecast5.2.7 Retail Buildings Construction Category Value Review5.2.8 Retail Buildings Construction Category Value Forecast5.2.9 Other Commercial Construction Category Value Review5.2.10 Other Commercial Construction Category Value Forecast5.3 Industrial Construction Market Analysis5.3.1 Market Dynamics5.3.2 Industrial Construction Market Value5.3.3 Industrial Construction Market Segmentation5.3.4 Industrial Construction Market Value Forecast5.3.5 Industrial Construction Market Segmentation Forecast5.4 Industrial Construction: Category Analysis5.4.1 Chemical and Pharmaceutical Plants Construction Category Value Review5.4.2 Chemical and Pharmaceutical Plants Construction Category Value Forecast5.4.3 Manufacturing Plants Construction Category Value Review5.4.4 Manufacturing Plants Construction Category Value Forecast5.4.5 Metal and Material Processing Plants Construction Category Value Review5.4.6 Metal and Material Processing Plants Construction Category Value Forecast5.4.7 Refinery Buildings Construction Category Value Review
