Let the Story Begin.. <ul><li>Mary J. wants permission to help disabled people who joined Accenture </li></ul><ul><li>No ability to talk and hear </li></ul><ul><li>“ Jab We Met”: Mohan met with Imran (ACN, Bang 2) and the five disabled employees who had joined MAPLE Project </li></ul><ul><li>Meet the Trainer: Praveen from EnAble India </li></ul><ul><li>Accenture has tie-up with EnAble India and a new program to hire disabled employees. </li></ul>

Story of a Girl.. <ul><li>My uncle’s daughter is disabled (hearing) </li></ul><ul><li>She is about 22 yrs, sensory disability </li></ul><ul><li>Meeting for this girl arranged in Mohan’s office with Praveen and Imran </li></ul><ul><li>Girl wants to register at EnAble India and get trained so that she can also join Accenture </li></ul><ul><li>http://www.enable-india.org </li></ul>

Story Continues.. <ul><li>Girl registers at Enable India; Passes basic assessments </li></ul><ul><li>Takes 3-month training on BPO culture, software, typing skills, etc </li></ul><ul><li>Meets new friends, gains confidence, loves life </li></ul><ul><li>Training completed but no job </li></ul><ul><li>Praveen (trainer) and Mohan counsel the girl and help with employment opportunities </li></ul>
  6. 6. Happy Ending <ul><li>Recently girl got an excellent job at Reuters, Bangalore </li></ul><ul><li>Girl THANKS Accenture and EnAble India </li></ul><ul><li>Parents pleased with girl’s new job, improved skill set and confidence. </li></ul>

Helping Others <ul><li>Gives us a sense of fulfillment </li></ul><ul><li>Act of kindness </li></ul><ul><li>Help can be in form of money, time, effort, advise, training </li></ul><ul><li>Help irrespective of your age, gender, etc </li></ul><ul><li>Helping others will reduce stress and increase your happiness ( www.helpothers.org ) </li></ul><ul><li>Brings good feelings, connected to yourself, creates balanced life, and improves mental health </li></ul>
