  • Not a quick fix solution, though I have used meditative exercises in situations of crisis to center people.—Person who could not breathe…paniced, contacted fear of dying. Her fear was actually keeping her from breathing. Exercise: regular practice help you when those moments of crisis or “fight or Flight” come to be able, perhaps, to take a breath, step outside for a moment, and choose a different response. We do daily practice to have that kind of awareness available when we need it.
