Many matters in education have changed beyond imagination in Medical
profession and Education; Clinical and non-clinical teachers are a valuable resource. They are essential
to the successful teaching of medical students. Today we the Medical teachers should gear up to make
the students interested in the Profession whatever the attitude of students, as teachers have to survive
in the competitive world of employment TRYING TO IMPROVE THE INDIFFERENT STUDENTS WITH
LACK OF APTITUDE, IS A GAME CHANGER, If we wish to justify our presence occupying the mightier
chairs, we can make our presence felt with justification from many great institutes which changed our
thinking in newer ways as, Medical students are rarely taught how to integrate communication and
clinical reasoning. I tried my best use of all my Microbiology and Infectious diseases topics on the world
wide web with a mind making clinically integrated, to make quicker response to identify the Infectious
diseases than with theoretical ideas. Not understanding the relation between these skills may lead
students to undervalue the connection between psychosocial and biomedical aspects of patient care. I
always considered doing my job full of life and human interaction as in our teaching three components
are involved TEACHER – STUDENT AND LEARNING – INFLUENCING THE PATIENTS IN GOOD
AND BAD ACTIONS, Never forget we teachers too are responsible for some of the bad actions, What I
understood from my dedicated teachers was Understanding each patient's biological, psychosocial and
cultural background is the foundation of effective patient care. To achieve this, a physician and
Teachers must use communication skills, biomedical knowledge and clinical judgment to generate and
modify diagnostic hypotheses (i.e., clinical reasoning). Teaching certainly does facilitate understanding.
In order to teach effectively, one must truly master the subject they are discussing. Further, I regularly
study and prepare myself during each student rotation or seminars, I always find interesting to teach and
interact with students even correcting many errors they make, I understand from students, without
teachers effective participation the SEMINAR DEAD THAN A LIVE INTERACTION, so that I can make
sure I am making the most efficient use of their time. There was nothing more dissatisfying than being
placed with a preceptor who was not excited about teaching. I remember this and do not want to be
known as "one of those" preceptors.
Governing and accreditation bodies recognize the importance of communication and clinical
reasoning.1Successful use of these skills is linked to important outcomes including improved diagnostic
and clinical proficiency decreased medical errors,6 reduced emotional distress,2 and increased patient
and physician satisfaction. Nevertheless, research shows many inadequacies in clinicians' skills
including incomplete solicitation of patient concern and inconsistent exploration of psychosocial issues
These practices can lead to inappropriate prioritization of problems, impaired clinical reasoning and poor
therapeutic alliances with the potential for medical error and harm.
As many students complain lack of clinical teaching if we make a analysis the best postgraduates and
even the undergraduates are produced when the seniors contribute their best to the system, Many
enquiries suggests that promotion of teaching by senior clinicians is likely to have increased success if
prospective teachers contribute to course development, sufficient time is allocated to teaching,
memories of inspirational teachers are reawakened, the link between strong teaching and junior doctor
outcomes is emphasized, and staff are reminded of the opportunity to 'advertise' their specialty. Medical
schools face increasing difficulties staffing clinical programs and this study provides avenues to improve
recruitment of senior medical staff to the teaching ranks.
HOW TO SUCCEED AS TEACHER we all must remember that even though we have received our
degree and EXPERTS WITH POST GRADUATE DEGREES, medicine is a field in which we all remain
at the student level. As each year passes, practice standards are updated, medications are released,
and guidelines are updated. We can only truly be a more effective clinician for our patients if we
continue the lifelong process of reading and studying. By teaching others what we have learned, we can
better understand as students ourselves – I wish teachers should learn more teach more to bring more
light to the world we live ?
