    • HOW TO BE A CREATIVE TEACHER? Dr.T.V.Rao MDLife is a though, to be created and lived. Many of us are Teachers by designation and Job, and few of us will succeed to be innovative and creative. I wonder is there anything more creativethan teaching Profession, believe theCreativity is in us, it cannot be taught, and it can certainly be nurtured. Though one may suddenly get inspired into a burst of creativity, creativity doesn't have to hit us like a bolt of lightning, you just become famous suddenly - However it can be sustained and even enhanced if you have the right outlook, set up a favourable routine, and don't put too much on yourself. If you want to know how to be creative, just think. It is life principle whatever is created without innovation goes in vain and ultimately you have to consume whatever you have created, I think it is the reason many of us fail.Just listen to the Students voice which is many times honest I believe that students are not biased to teachers if you do well. Take feedback with sincerity. However keep following your own path because, the problem with asking for feedback is that a person's feedback will always be biased because he or she will have a different idea of what your work should be. Other people will try to push you in a direction that might be right for them, but not for you. Though they may have good intentions, this will only disappoint us .One should be comfortable and honest asking for feedback, but don't let anyone's opinion keep you doing from what you're doing. Once we are finished with our creative work, whatever it may be, then we can listen to feedback. Just doesn’t let criticism, even the constructive type, stifle your creativity during the creative process? When I was new to teaching Profession I really used to get upset when things are not favourable to my expectations. In a short Time I have realised I have to put up with the matters, and work hard on our weaknesses which made me to adapt to the growing challenges in Teaching. Actually, be harder on yourself than everyone else is. Best to always ask oneself, "How could I have done this better?" or "What would I have done differently in a perfect world?" Accept that you are not perfect, and that your striving to be as good as possible is the fruit of self-expression. If you can't find fault with your own work, you're probably not trying hard enough. Many of us are poor to accept the criticism as a future guide, for many matters to improve. Majority of us wish to be become perfectionist, which hampers many of our skills as everything in world changes with the expectations of Society and our Student’s changing ambitions in their careersOur natural output, drained of concern for creating something that's exactly right, will always produce creative results. There are limitless paths to achieving creative success. Imperfection is human, and sometimes the most, wondrous creative artists leave mistakes unfixed on purpose. Nature itself is beautifully imperfect. Don't try to be so perfect that you end up destroying the very thing that made your work unique. One may produce a few high-quality pieces of work, but also keep you from experimenting and trying out some less-than-perfect works that could have led to something incredible. Nothing in this world is absolutely good or bad. Even if you are only coming up with what you feel are "bad" ideas, you are still being creative, so develop them, and they could turn into a great solutions! Focus on improving your "bad" ideas more than perfecting your "good" ones.Itis not just teaching every onewishes that you are a good human being,Our value as a human is defined by so many other concerns: how we treat other people, how we treat oneself, how much love we have for the world, our willingness to be selfless, our ability to do the hard things. Do not expect others like you, never forget God’s creativity is much diversified, and don't compare our own output to the output of our creative friends, either. Everyone works at his or her own pace, and this is only guaranteed to drive you insane, not inspire you.We need not be poets to do many writing just try to pen little matters you observe with you colleagues and circumstances we live,Try your hand at writing a short story, even if you're way out
    • of your comfort zone. Enjoy the relief of knowing it probably won't be the greatest artistic feat of your life, may not go waste. When we become seniors we many times loose the realities of society and aspirations of many around us. Best way to success is, Think like a professor and act like a Student, when we really become senior faculty, when we trying to be creative face a lot of creative roadblocks along the way: there are rules about what's allowed and what isn't, as we are afraid of criticism of our juniors, how we're supposed to behave and not behave. Those rules are there for a reason, but they can inhibit your creativity. Instead, use all the natural intelligence you've gained as an adult and where possible, act like a Child. Maintain the wonder you had as a child, and look at every person you meet or everything in Nature you see as endlessly fascinating. When we think too much we can never go forward, as present is a golden opportunity to do many better things Ignore the past. If you really want to be able to do your own thing, don't get hung up on the past. It's important to know what has been created in the world up to this point, but that doesn't mean that you should try to mimic it. You can be influenced and inspired by artists in the past, but don't let them inhibit your own style and form of expression; I truly believe we have to create our own Signature in this impermanent, and Imperfect World. In a creative state of mind, time doesn't exist — a few hours can feel like seconds, a moment can seem to last, Dream and create your imagination to be successful Spend half an hour a day thinking exclusively about one subject. At first, this might be very hard to do. You can start off by thinking about a single subject for few minutes a day, then increase the period daily until you reach a half hour. At first it is wise to practice this when alone, but eventually you should be able to do it even in the midst of distractions, such as when traveling to and from work, as every minute is important in our Lives Learn how to live in the moment. LIFE IS NOT A CHOICE BUT LIVING WITH CREATIVITY CAN BE THE BEST OPTION IN THE COMPETETIVE WORLD. Dr.T.V.Rao MD Professor of Microbiology, Free-lance writer email ;doctortvrao@gmail.com
