How Computers influence Our Consciousness Dr.T.V.Rao MD We are livingtowork,we do not sustaintogo forwardunlesswe worktothe needsof the modernworldas we all knowthe great quote of “Darwin,the survival of the fittest”worksto advantage manyinthe world,howeveritmade manyrichprosperousandevenfamous.Inthe changingworldmanymattershave conflictof interesthow we suittodo well remainthe questionto manyand keepsus indilemmawhatdecisionswe take ineveryaspectof life.Till today manyare takingabouthow to improve ourskillswithmanyphysical methodsandtheoretical adviseshowever the science of consciousnessischanging, one maythinkof consciousnessasasubjectrelatedto contemplationandEasternspiritualpractices andfew thinkasoccultscience - we may notsurvive withmere teachingof factsand problem of consciousnesshasbeguntocatch on inneuroscience, manyexplore toimprove the consciousnesstobe betterteachers We all know Consciousness isthe awarenessof whatisin workingmemory.Tobe aware of something, thatsomethingmustbe in workingmemory how doesabrain generate consciousness? Manyorganizationsworkathigherlevel of consciousnessandbecomesareality inthe computerage,itisnot hard to imagine how a computingmachine mightconstruct,store andspitoutthe informationthat‘Iam alive,Iama person,I have memories,the windisblowingtoyouradvantage,and,’andso on.But how doesa brainbecome aware of those propositions? Manytrailsinorderto stimulate oremployees orour studentsin an organizationtostimulate theirconsciousnesstothe needsof the organizationas a teacherI try to stimulate the studentstothe needsof the medical profession, andfittothe new expectationof changingworldof Medicine, withprogressof Time ina professionwithsenioritywe rarelyfindjustour mere knowledge maynotworkforlongeras our studentsare well informedas and learnfasterthanwhenwe are Students. We shouldstartrealising Consciousnessisthe name we give to the abilitytoself-start,overcome adversity/restraintsanddemonstratethe greater intelligencesthatare critical forcreativityandstrategicthinking. Higherlevelsof consciousness allowusto mobilize more intelligence,responsibilityandenergy.Whenwe meeta“HighPerformer” that impressesuswiththe amounttheycando,do well anddo while interactingfluidlywithall kinds of people aroundthem.We teachersshouldrealise we are all satisfied withlittle of our contributions,and thinkwe are bestinprofessionhoweverwe all become monotonouswith dialectic lectures,we all shouldtry todo ourduty and planto raise the consciousnessof many aroundyou as, Consciousnessisagoodinfrastructure investment.Consciousness,basedonour track record,is a verygood investment.Itcanbe viewedasa “buildorbuy” decision.Youcaneither locate,recruitor payfor a team of rare superstarsor youcan developyourself andthe people aroundyou intothose high-performingsuperstars orat leastbetterperformingstudents –witha level of consciousnessthatwill be rewardingfor youpersonally,foryourorganisationandfor our community. We are all influencedbythe subconsciousmindall aspectsof decisionmakingas Decision-makingcompressestrial-and-errorlearningexperiencesintoareal-time evaluationof the consequencesof aparticularaction.Itrequireson-line integrationof informationfromdiverse sources:perceptual informationaboutthe stimulus,factsstoredinmemory,feedbackfrom emotional systems,expectationsaboutthe consequencesof differentcoursesof action. With progressof time pure reasonisnot enoughtomake a decision. Reasonmakesthe listof options, but emotionmakesthe choice.Emotionsplayapart inall decision,andmostof the emotions are controlledby consciousness toworkandimprove the mattersof concern for a longtime,the study of consciousnesswasconsideredtoofarout to study.How do youscientificallystudysomethingso subjective?Howcanwhat one personfeelsbecomesomethingthatanotherpersoncanquantify? But now,intheirrelentlesspursuittounderstandeverysingle thingaboutthe world,scientistsare
