  • 1.  The primary sector : provides with raw materials from nature.  The secondary sector : processes raw materials and provides us with manufactured products.  The tertiary sector : provides us with a variety of services to consumers.
  • 2. Arable farming :is te cultivation of plants for food crops and non – food crops . Dryland farming: wheat, grapes and olives. Irrigated farming: tomatoes, beans and melons.
  • 3.  Bovine: cows, bulls and oxen.  Porcine: pigs. Ovine: sheep.  Caprine:goats.  Avian: birds.
  • 4.  Extensive:large fields or open pasture.  Intensive: stables or indoor pens.
  • 5.  Fishing: is the catching of fish and other aquatic animals .  COASTAL DEEP - SEA
  • 6.  Mining:is the extraction of rocks and minerals from the ground.
  • 7.  Forestry: is the exploitation of forests to extract plant .
  • 8.  Renewable sources: sunlight, water, or wind  Non – renewable sources: coal ,oil , natural gas and nuclear energy.
  • 9.  This sector of economy includes various areas like commerce, tourism , transport and communications.  Many people work in health and education ,public safety, skilled jobs,administrative work, cultural work and judicial system
  • 10.  Commerce: is the business of selling products and services.
  • 11.  We can use diferent types of transport for moving passengers and goods from one place to another.  ROAD RAIL AIR WATER
  • 12.  Tourism is the business that provides accomodations and entertainment.  BEACH ADVENTURE CULTURAL RURAL
  • 13.  Iterpersonal communication media : let us send information to one person at time.  Mass communication media: let us send informationto many people at once.
