    2. 2. Keynote includes: • professional and elegant themes • customizable cinematic transitions • animated text • individual object slide builds • exciting interactive slideshows
    3. 3. creating a presentation •Launch Keynote. •Choose a theme. •Choose slide size from the pull down menu.
    4. 4. •Choose a slide style from the Master Slide pull down menu. •Enter text or images and click “New” to add the next slide.
    5. 5. •Use the Inspector to customize text, images and other elements. •Your slides should help YOU convey your message with key points. People lose interest when you just read from your slides!
    6. 6. •Use the Media Browser to choose music, photos or movies from your libraries. •Use alignment guides to help position your objects.
    7. 7. •Use the Slide Inspector to add and customize transitions. •Don’t forget that transitions apply to OUTGOING slides!
    8. 8. •Use the Build Inspector to add dynamic elements (Builds) to your slide. •Use Character or Word Effects to animate text and bullets.
    9. 9. tables and charts •Click the Chart button to open the Chart Data Editor. •Chart data can be edited by clicking in the cell and changing the text or numbers. •Change the chart type by using the pull down menu in the Chart Inspector.
    10. 10. •Click and drag a web page directly into your slide. •Use the hyperlink Inspector to have the page update automatically.
    11. 11. •Use the Hyperlink Inspector to add links to other slides, web sites, email or other Keynote files. •To create a link, select an object or text then click on the Hyperlink inspector and choose from the options.
    12. 12. presenting keynote •Click play to view your slideshow. •Select Slideshow Preferences from Keynote > Preferences menu to customize your playback options.

    14. 14. Exporting and printing •Choose the File > Export menu to save your slideshow in multiple formats, including interactive Quicktime. •Select from a series of options including Powerpoint, PDF, Flash and HTML.
    15. 15. Exporting and printing •Choose the File > Print > Copies and Pages > Keynote menu to print your slideshow in multiple formats.
