Any fundraiser that can happen in the real world can be created in Second Life. Users can create events that are physically impossible in the real world. Users with molbility challenges can attend from home. Second Life has no borders, currently ACS has established several SL connections in other countries. Teams can be comprised of members from around the country and around the world. The community is already in place. We are simply adapting our communication method to the needs of our constituents and reaching a new demographic with the same message and life saving mission. Second Life has the challenge of overcoming the perception that it is a game. This IS the next evolution of the Interactive Web and Social Networking. Get in or get left behind! Why Second Life?
