Details:
1) Amos House will be launching Bristol Harbor Homemade baking mixes, their new
business venture. Bristol Harbor Homemade was generously donated to the Amos House
by Cindy Elder, founding owner of Bristol Harbor Homemade.
2) Whole Foods, one of the locations where the products will be available, will be
represented by Marketing Team Leader, Bonnie Frechette at the launch.
3) Location where products may be purchased will be announced at the launch event.
4) Amos House has successfully operated 3 businesses - More Than a Meal Catering,
Friendship Cafe and Amos House Builds - which have created jobs for their graduates,
served the community and generated income for their programs. They will now add
Bristol Harbor Homemade to their business endeavors.
5) Amos House is a nonprofit social services agency that began in 1976, which provides
hospitality and direct services to the homeless and poor of Rhode Island. Amos House
works in collaboration with other agencies and groups to address issues of hunger,
homelessness and poverty.
