  • 50 D AYS OF IDEAS TO USE WITH THE U LTRANET   M ESSAGE B OARDS U SE THESE IDEAS TO STIMULATE DISCUSSION IN YOUR CLASS WHILE LEARNING HOW TO USE THE U LTRANET ! P LEASE ADD ACTIVITIES TO HELP US GET TO 50!
  • B EFORE Y OU S TART     
      • Make sure you have created a collaborative space and inserted the message board app.
      • Create a new category for your discussion in the message board
      • Get your students to join your space or assign them in yourself
      • Show students how to reply to a comment- This is the easy bit!
      • Don't forget to get in there yourself and add to the discussion.  This will add depth and to the students' contributions
      • If you need help - check the ultranet support site, ask a lead user or your Ultranet coach!

    • The message boards that we use on the Ultranet have a rating system based on the number of posts a person adds to them. The highest rank is a Yoda (50 posts) and the lowest is a Youngling (5 posts).
