Workday is the leader in SaaS-based enterprise solutions for global human resources, payroll, and financial management. Employees from more than 300 Bay Area companies participated in an independent, third-party survey, ranking their companies on topics including team effectiveness, alignment of goals, trust in coworkers, trust in senior leaders, feeling valued, work engagement, and people practices. This is the fourth consecutive year Workday has appeared on the list. Founded by Workday Co-CEOs Dave Duffield and Aneel Bhusri in 2005, Workday now has more than 700 employees and 200 customers. Workday plans to hire more than 300 employees in 2011. "Workday has a set of core values that we believe truly represent the best code of conduct in business: employees, customer service, innovation, integrity, fun, and profitability,” said Duffield. “These values give us a framework for leadership and daily decisions, and they help us enjoy our time at work. It is supremely important to Aneel and me that employees love their jobs, and we couldn’t be more honored that Workday has again been identified as a best place to work."
