  • javelina Ellie K , Statistical Analyst Thank you Dave, for sharing your slides from GROW conf w/ us. Two highlights for me:
    1) those sky-high failure rates associated w/ incubator & 'series seed' < $1mil funded start-ups! Slides 2 and 18 were dismaying on first glance, but slides 22 - 24 show p.o.v: 'It's okay, a normal stage in the rinse-and-repeat cycle!'
    2) your honesty in listing the specific ventures in slides 5 and 6. That's a lot more meaningful than just giving a 'characteristic profile'.

    Just kidding. Great presentation, Dave. The key is that different stages of life require different investments. I just wish the anti-angel VCs realized this fact.
