Emotional Thinking Process
Gosh I’m so tired and overwhelmed lately, maybe I need a change
A new career
A vacation
A day at the spa
A day at the park
Dinner with friends
Locical Thinking Process
A pattern of thinking attempts to ignore the emotional conderation…..
A vacation seems like the right thing to do. I will just use my credit card again and I will deal with the real stuff when I come back. At least for the moment I will enjoy myself.
Vertical Thinking Process
Going on a vacation would be amazing, but it will only cure my depression for a split moment of incredible fun, drinking and relaxing. OH and eating lots of food, yum.
Maybe if I gave back to the community by donating some clothing, I know that it would take effortless on my part and would really make me feel good about myself by giving back
I want to own a house someday, start a family in my home. I want to earn that money to have all these wonderful things. Not in this career. Maybe it is time I go back to school!!
Wait….I see the bigger picture!!
I will go back to school!! It will change how I see what I am not seeing now.
I will achieve higher goals of someday being able to afford a vacation, a home and start a family!!
I will have something more to show for…a degree!!
I will give back to my community always.
