    • It can send and receive E-mails.
    • The user can personalize it anyway they want with downloads.
    • It can download and play most, if not all, media files.

    • 31% of people who own mobile phones in the U.S. have Smart Phones.
    • Of the 1.6 billion mobile phones sold in 2010, 297 million of them were Smart Phones.
    • That's 72.1% more Smart Phone sales than in 2009.

    • Smart Phones are so popular, sales are said to beat out PC’s by 2011.
    • Smart Phones are popular because of their applications, but is it all good?

    • The most common way that Smart Phones affect people is concentration.
    • Around 50% of Smart Phone owners are students.
    • With the social networking affects of the Smart Phone, concentration in the classroom is lost.

    • Social Networking sites keep us in touch but because they are also available with Smart Phones, they are destroying social interaction between humans.
    • People would much rather us Black Berry Messenger or Whatsapp to talk instead of meeting up with one another.

    • While Smart Phones are disrupting concentration and social attitude of many people they do have there advantages. Smart Phones can:
    • Be used to communicate with people all over through Social Networking.
    • Gain wireless access to the internet.
    • Download multiple applications for multiple uses.

    • As much as Smart Phones make life easier, they are also a distraction to society and destroy social skills, disrupting work in businesses, schools and any other places they find.
    • Smart Phones are quickly taking over and unless we as humans learn to control our addiction to new technology, the phones will take over our lives and we’ll be talking to the person in the next chair through text messages.
