Essay Requirements for English 102
Essays must be typed (hand-written essays will not be accepted).
Make sure that the paper is double-spaced (single-spaced papers will not be accepted).
Use size 12 Times New Roman font.

Use 1-inch margins all the way around on your papers. You may have to go to Page Layout to fix this.

for mistakes. Make sure to revise and edit your papers carefully. I recommend visiting the Writing Center
and/or having someone you know read the paper aloud to you, so that you can catch some of these

submitting work that you did not write (copying and pasting from Wikipedia, for example) and failing to
properly cite the sources for any outside material in your writing. You will be required to submit all of your
